Tomorrow’s the day that Google is expected to launch Android Wear 2.0, but we don’t have to wait until then to see one of the update’s biggest new features.
Google has posted screenshots of the Android Pay app for Android Wear. The images, which can be found on Android Pay’s Play Store page, show off a few of the app’s screens.
First up, you can see a screen that shows your active card and the prompt “Hold to terminal…” so you know how to pay using your watch. The second screenshot shows your active card and a check mark to indicate that your payment was successful, and the third screenshot shows your selected card’s transaction history.
There aren’t really any surprise features to be found in these three screenshots, but it’s still nice to get an early look at Android Pay on Android Wear. It’s also exciting that Android Pay for Android Wear is finally almost here, meaning that we’ll soon be able to pay for things with our smartwatches. Just keep in mind that you’ll need a smartwatch with NFC to use this feature.
