Huawei has teased that it plans to unveil a new smartphone at this year’s Mobile World Congress, but at the time the identity of the phone was a mystery.
Now Huawei has confirmed that it show the Huawei P10 on stage at MWC 2017. Huawei Mobile announced the upcoming unveiling on it YouTube channel, where it uploaded a video revealing that the P10 will debut on February 26, the day before MWC officially kicks off.
The video includes the phrase “Change the way the world sees you” and the hashtag that reads “#OO”. If that looks familiar, it’s been used in the past to indicate a dual-camera setup on the back of a Huawei device.
We actually saw the Huawei P10 appear in leaked renders just yesterday. The P10 is rumored to include a 5.2-inch display, up to 6GB of RAM, a Kirin 960 processor under the hood, and two 12-megapixel cameras on the back. If the rumors are true, it will also launch with Android Nougat on board.
Is the Huawei P10 on your radar at all?
