The LG G6 is set to be debuted on February 26. Leading up to that big day, though, the rumor mill has revealed just about everything it can about the upcoming flagship.
Most recently we saw photos of the G6 out in the wild, and we’ve heard more than a few times that it will be have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor (not the Snapdragon 835) under the hood. Now, VentureBeat is reporting that the release date has been pegged down, too, long before LG can get around to officially announcing the handset.
The report indicates that the LG G6 will launch in South Korea on March 9 and in the United States on April 7.
The report also reiterates a few elements that we’ve heard in the past, like that the G6 will boast a 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and that it will be IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. It also makes note that the Samsung Galaxy S8, a major competitor for LG’s upcoming flagship, will launch on April 21, leaving a brief window for LG to capitalize on sales.
Are you looking forward to the LG G6?
