Movado, a recognized brand when it comes to analog watches, is moving into the smartwatch territory.
The company has officially announced that it is partnering with Google to bring a brand new Android Wear 2.0 collection to market. The Movado Connect collection will officially be unveiled at Baselworld 2017, which will take place at the end of March. There, Movado will showcase the five different styles of smartwatches.
Pricing for the collection will start at $495. Movado has confirmed the watches will be available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and in the Caribbean.
The standard Android Wear 2.0 features will be on board, including fitness tracking, support for Android Pay, and others. The watches will have round faces and similar design elements to the Movado Museum Classic.
If you’re a fan of Hugo Boss or Tommy Hilfiger, Movado has also confirmed new smartwatches with those brand will also be partnering with Google.
