The Galaxy S8 has been leaked more often than Samsung would probably like, but, that doesn’t appear to be slowing the stream of new images down any.
Thanks to SlashLeaks, we’ve got new photos of the upcoming, but still unofficial, Galaxy S8. This time the Galaxy S8+ has been included, giving us a better grasp of the size difference between each handset. Rumor has it that the Galaxy S8 will boast a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8+ will rock a 6.2-inch panel. Both are expected to have a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED screen.
The photos also give us a look at the bottom of one of the phones, showing us the downward-facing speaker and 3.5mm headphone jack, which flank the USB Type-C port.
The rumor mill also suggests the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood, in some regions at least. The devices are also said to have 4GB of RAM, 12-megapixel cameras on the back, IP68 water and dust resistance, and a 3000mAh battery in the Galaxy S8, with a 3500mAh battery in the Galaxy S8+.
The latest rumor regarding the Galaxy S8 suggested Samsung plans to launch the handset on April 28, following the official unveiling on March 29, so we still have quite a ways to go before either one of these devices make it to market.
These are certainly going to be worthwhile handsets later this year. Which one is going to be your next daily driver?
