Have a Samsung Gear Fit2 or Gear Fit2 Pro on your wrist? If so, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a new software update that’s now coming your way.
Samsung has announced a new update for the Gear Fit2 and Gear Fit2 Pro fitness wearables. The update is now rolling out and can be downloaded through the Samsung Gear app on your smartphone.
As for what’s included, Samsung has added a Weight Management feature (three images above left) that’ll display your daily exercise and food consumption to help you track calories in and out. A new Fitness Program feature (fourth image above right) will let you connect your Fit2 or Fit2 Pro to your smartphone and sync with your TV when you’re accessing exercise video content.
An improved Workout Screen (below left) will help you more easily view your workout content, showing three pieces of workout data that you can customize. You can choose to view data like distance traveled, calories burned, exercise duration, and heart rate.
Rounding out this update is a couple of new widgets. The Multi-workouts widget (above center) will give you quick access to your favorite workouts, while the Health Summary widget (above right) will let you see your total exercise for the day at a glance.
If you’ve got a Gear Fit2 or Gear Fit2 Pro, be sure to let us know what you think of this new update!
