HTC originally announced the Desire 530 earlier this year, but ever since, the news surrounding the handset has died down.
That’s changing thanks to a launch announcement for the United States. The Desire 530 will be arriving in the U.S. this month, and it’ll be available unlocked for $179. The 530 will also be available for Verizon and T-Mobile and while Verizon confirmed its launch plans, T-Mobile has. The Un-carrier will launch the Desire 530 on July 13 for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $6.67. Full retail price for T-Mobile will be $159.99.
The Desire 530 boasts 5-inch 1080p HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8MP camera on the back, and a 5MP front-facing camera. It offers 16GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot, and the battery measures in at 2200mAh.
