A new leak from TechRadar puts the upcoming LG G7 ThinQ on display, while bringing in a list of specs that the flagship smartphone will reportedly be equipped with. The leaked device was outfitted with an unremovable plastic case, but on the front, it’s easy to see a nearly bezel-less display that features the controversial notch at the top, where the earpiece, LED notification indicator, and front-facing camera reside. The right side of the device hosts the power button and the left side of the device features a dedicated AI button, furthering LG’s investment in AI technology that it debuted with the V30S ThinQ.
According to this leak, the G7 ThinQ will be outfitted with a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Those specs are top of the line for now but could quickly be bested by other upcoming smartphones, including the OnePlus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and Google Pixel 3. Nonetheless, TechRadar is reporting an AnTuTu benchmark score of 252,473, making the LG G7 ThinQ the second fastest smartphone in the world, second only to the Sony Xperia XZ2.
The LG G7 ThinQ is expected to launch globally in May. Stay tuned for more reports and rumors.
