Amazon announces Product (RED) Echo

Amazon has announced a new color variant of the Echo, and it comes with the added perk of charity! The Product (RED) Echo has 10% of its cost donated to fight HIV and AIDS.

The device is identical to the standard Echo and even costs the same, but from your $99.99, $10 will go to charity. Considering that a regular Echo doesn’t cost any less, it’s a good deal! Plus the red looks quite good. It’s not stealthy, but it makes a statement.

You can pre-order the device now and it’ll ship on December 5, so you can pick one up for Christmas. However, Black Friday will have the standard colors at a significantly discounted rate so you may want to pass on this if you want to save some cash.
