If you’re under the T-Mobile umbrella and happen to be in the market for a new Android tablet, Alcatel has an option for you.
T-Mobile has announced that the Alcatel-branded A30 Tablet will be available on its network beginning Friday, May 12. It’ll be priced at $125 in total, or $5 down and $5 per month for 24 months.
For that price, you get an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1200×800, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, Android 7.1 Nougat, and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. It has 4G LTE connectivity, a battery that measures in at 4060mAh, and there are 5-megapixel cameras on the front and back.
The Alcatel A30 also boasts an IR blaster along with a feature called CloserTV. With it, owners will be able to pair the tablet with their cable set-top box and TV, allowing them to change channels, control the volume, and more. There’s also a commercial skipping feature, which will automatically change the channel during the commercial breaks.
Anyone jumping for this mid-range tablet?
