Nokia has already introduced the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and Nokia 8 to the market, with each model filling a specific role and price point. Now it looks like there’s one more model that will be added to the lineup.
Serial leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has posted an image that apparently shows off the upcoming Nokia 2. The image is all we have to go on, though, as Blass didn’t provide any information regarding the handset’s specs. We can see there will be 4G connectivity, though, and cameras on the front and back. There will also be white and black color options.
The number of the Nokia 2 hints at what we might expect out of this particular handset. This is more than likely an entry-level device with a price tag to match. It’s not known where the handset will launch, but a safe bet is probably emerging markets across the globe.
The Nokia 3 costs around $160 USD, so the Nokia 2 will probably cost a bit less than that. For anyone looking for a cheap device that still offers a near-stock Android experience, this might be worth a look whenever it launches.
What do you think of the Nokia 2?
