If you happen to be in the market for a new Android tablet and want one with a sizable display, then Barnes & Noble might have you covered without breaking your bank.
The bookseller has had its NOOK lineup of tablets for quite some time, and now it’s adding another to the mix. The NOOK Tablet 10.1 features a display that measures in at 10.1 inches and has a resolution of 1920×1200, with a pixel-per-inch count of 224. There is 32GB of built-in storage, and B&N says you can add up to 256GB of additional storage through the microSD card slot.
The new NOOK Tablet will offer up to eight and a half hours of battery lifeand it’s running Android out of the box with access to the Play Store to download apps. It charges with microUSB 2.0, and it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, too. There are 2MP cameras up front and around back.
The NOOK Tablet 10.1 also has a pogo-pin connector which will allow the tablet to connect directly to different accessories, including a keyboard and a charging dock. The tablet goes on sale beginning Wednesday, November 14, and it retails for $129.99. You can preorder it now if you are so inclined.
