Maybe you already are a member of Project Fi or maybe you’ve been thinking about jumping on board. If a Pixel 3 is your phone of choice, then Project Fi has a solid deal for you.
Project Fi is currently hosting a limited time promotion that offers a $799 bill credit for someone who buys two Pixel 3 smartphones. That means you can grab two of the smaller variants, a pair of Pixel 3 XL phones, or mix and match, and still get the credit applied. The promotion will run between 12:00am PT on November 16, 2018, and 10:00pm PT on Thursday, November 22, 2018.
There are some loops to jump through to be eligible for the deal. First, the same person needs to buy both smartphones. It can be a brand new customer to Project Fi that launches a group plan or a current Project Fi customer that adds a line to their account. One of those devices “must be activated by the group plan member who is a new Project Fi subscriber as of 11/16/18 12:00 AM PT”. The group member that is a new Project Fi member must port in their number from another wireless carrier, and that number must have been active with the previous network since 9/16/18 12:00 AM PT.
There’s more: This has to be a full-service Project Fi account, and not just a data-only option. The devices need to be activated within 30 days of device shipment, and you need to make sure they stay activated for 60 days within 90 days of shipment. Once all of those terms are met, you’ll see the Project Fi credit in about 75 to 90 days after activation.
