Nearly one year after the Moto Z made its official debut, images of what may be the device’s successor have leaked.
Images of the Moto Z2/Moto Z2 Force have made their way online, showing off a device that largely looks similar to the OG Moto Z. The shots do reveal a couple of differences in the new model, like a fingerprint reader that’s now pill-shaped instead of square.
Meanwhile, the back of this Moto Z2 appears to show a dual rear camera setup, which is definitely a change from the Moto Z and its single rear shooter.
Other than those two changes, we can see a lot of the Moto Z in this Moto Z2. There’s a round, Moto 360-esque rear camera housing, a thin body, and some connector pins on the back of the phone for attaching Moto Mods.
There’s still not a lot of information about the Moto Z2’s spec list, but considering that the original was a flagship-tier device, we expect that the Z2 will be as well. The original Moto Z was announced in early June, so we may be just about a month and a half away from officially meeting the Moto Z2 and learning what makes it tick.
