When sending emails, you often send important information like phone numbers and addresses. Yet despite such content being clickable on the internet, this was not entirely the case in Gmail.
Google is fixing that by updating the mobile apps on Android and iOS as well as the website and Inbox for Gmail. Phone numbers, emails, and addresses are now clickable and will take you to their respective apps.
This feature should be rolling out in the next 3 days to all users. It’s sure to make using the service a bit easier.
