T-Mobile will offer free Netflix to family plan customers

T-Mobile has made several Un-carrier moves in an attempt to shake up the wireless industry and solve pain points for customers, and today the next Un-carrier move has been revealed.

T-Mobile today unveiled Netflix On Us. Starting September 12, T-Mobile customers on a qualifying T-Mobile One plan can get a free Netflix subscription each month.

To get your free Netflix, you’ll need to have at least two voice lines on a T-Mobile One plan with taxes and fees included. This includes customers with free lines from the recent “lines-on-us” deals. However, T-Mo customers on an Unlimited 55+ or 2 lines for $100 promo will need to switch to the latest T-Mobile One plan to qualify for Netflix On Us.

Customers that qualify for Netflix On Us can enroll online, in a T-Mobile store, or by calling T-Mobile customer service starting September 12. To enroll, you’ll be given a URL to link your T-Mobile account with your Netflix account.

The Netflix On Us promo covers the cost of the standard $9.99 Netflix plan with two streams. If you’d like to upgrade to the premium $11.99 Netflix plan with four streams, Ultra HD, and HDR, you can do so and T-Mo will add the $2 difference to your bill each month.
