Google’s Digital Wellbeing feature has been in beta mode since its arrival with Android 9 Pie, and while Google did make some important changes to improve the experience not too long ago, we’ve been waiting for the feature to exit the beta process. Now the time has finally come.
Google’s Digital Wellbeing is rolling out of beta, and it is now available for all Pixel smartphones. The app is also available for Android One smartphones. You’ll need to download the app if you don’t already have it on your phone and switch it on in the Android Settings app. If you already installed the beta, your app will update automatically.
Digital Wellbeing is a feature that’s designed to help you see just how much time you’re spending on your device, in the apps you have installed, and manage that time better. There are specials features inside the app, too, like Wind Down, that will gradually make the display go grayscale over a set period of time, and also limit notifications as well.
Have you been using Digital Wellbeing? How do you like it?
