We recently had a leak of the Pixel 3 Lite, an alleged third Pixel device for this year’s lineup. Nicknamed “Sargo”, the device features mid-range specs, larger bezels, a plastic body, and a headphone jack.
We know exceedingly little about the device, but we now have some photo samples that allegedly came from a Sargo prototype. Though they’re resized, they look pretty good!
The thing about Google is that the camera software far overshadows the hardware the company uses. Though the sensor used in the Pixel 3 lineup is good, the software makes it perform as good as it does. So we can expect some solid performance even from a mid-range sensor.
The leaker claims that the device will launch in the first half of 2019 for $400-500. Could this be the new Nexus replacement?
