Samsung officially teases folding smartphone on Facebook

Rumors of a folding smartphone from Samsung have been popping up for years. We’ve seen foldable displays and concept phones from various companies but nothing concrete on a production unit from Samsung.

That is, until now. Samsung Mobile updated its profile photo on Facebook to a Samsung logo folded over. If this isn’t a confirmation of a folding phone in the works, we don’t know what is.

Any other details on the upcoming folding device are simply not available; this is all that we have to go on. However, we’re excited to see what the company will have to offer. As a manufacturer of premium smartphone displays (and arguably the best one), the end result should be great.
